He received his first painting lessons from Santiago Rusiñol in Aranjuez, where he lived.
In 1944, he participated in the National Fine Arts Exhibition, and two years later, he presented his first solo exhibition in Barcelona.
Gold Medal from the Provincial Council of Girona, Gold Medal at the City of Barcelona Painting Competition, First Prize for Painting from the City of Granollers, Gold Medal of Badalona, etc.
He exhibited for more than forty years in the best galleries of the country.
Settled in Banyoles, his work was dedicated to the landscapes of the Estany (the lake) and the urban themes of his city.
