Contemporary Catalan painter and visual artist, self-taught, whose work is characterized by urban figuration and figurative landscape.
Learning process: His technical evolution has been largely experimental, combining graphite, preliminary sketching, and the progressive use of oil and mixed media.
He is notable for his depictions of the urban landscape, the everyday rhythm of cities (with a special focus on scenes of Barcelona and Girona), and architecture integrating with the human figure.
Technical approach: He works with an intuitive perspective and a careful composition, aiming to capture the atmosphere, the texture of stone, environmental light, and the daily life of the settings he portrays. He employs everything from flat graphite strokes to dense chromatic layers.
His work has been exhibited in various art galleries throughout Catalonia (such as the rooms of Galeria El Claustre in Figueres and Girona) as well as in group shows.
