Graduated in Fine Arts from the University of Barcelona (UB), specializing in Painting.
His work stands out especially for its depiction of scenes from major metropolises (Barcelona, Madrid, Paris, New York, or Havana), utilizing complex framing—often from elevated or high-angle perspectives—that captures the architecture, light, and density of cities. He combines an almost photographic technical precision with a very free tactile treatment of paint up close, using overlapping layers, texture, and glazes that lend a unique richness of texture.
Vidal is a regular artist at the Galería El Claustre in Girona.
He has been awarded numerous national and international painting prizes, and his work is featured in prominent public, private, and institutional collections.
