He graduated in Fine Arts from the prestigious San Carlos Faculty at the Polytechnic University of Valencia.
His artistic beginnings were strongly marked by the classical painting of Spanish masters such as Velázquez and Sorolla, focusing on the mastery of drawing, the human figure, Baroque tenebrism, and luminous coastal scenes.
Over time, he integrated abstraction into his technique.
In his most recent series, the application of layers of acrylic paint, dichroic pigments, and metallic finishes stands out, interacting with ambient light and the viewer's viewing angle, giving the work an almost three-dimensional and ethereal volume.
Velfin has participated in numerous collective and solo exhibitions internationally. His work enjoys a broad presence in contemporary art galleries (especially in Spain and the United States) and is part of multiple private art collections.
His work can be seen at the Galeria El Claustre, where his pieces are on permanent display.
