He is one of the most recognized landscape painters in contemporary Catalan art, famous for his luminous depictions of the Empordà region.
Self-taught, he held his first solo exhibition in Peralada in 1970; since then, he has participated in several editions of the Artexpo Barcelona Fair, the Arco 83 and Arco 85 Fairs in Madrid, Art 14'83 Basel (Switzerland), C.I.A.C. Paris (in 1984), Aquavella Gallery (Caracas, Venezuela), New York, etc.
His work focuses on rural, maritime, and architectural landscapes, particularly from the Girona region. He stands out for his vibrant figurative style, impasto and expressive brushwork, and a masterly command of light, color, and aerial perspective in large-format compositions.
In addition to painting, he has engaged in sculpture and the illustration of travel books and cultural itineraries (including projects dedicated to the lands of the Empordà, the Holy Land, etc.).
His work is represented in numerous public and private collections, as well as in museums, foundations, and cultural spaces.
