He pursued higher education in Fine Arts in Tetouan, which he later expanded in Seville, Barcelona, and Paris.
In 1962, he decided to settle in Girona, where he actively participated in the local cultural scene, eventually establishing his home-studio in a farmhouse in Casavells, in the Baix Empordà region.
Since presenting his first solo exhibition in 1961 at the Cultural Center of Ceuta, he held nearly 200 exhibitions across Europe, Asia, Africa, and America.
In 1975, he won the grand prize at the International Biennial of Barcelona.
He painted large-scale murals and also produced posters, prints, collages, and illustrations for bibliophile books.
He exhibited frequently both within Spain and abroad, and in 1992, a retrospective exhibition of his work was held in Girona.
In 2017, the Museum of Montserrat organized an exhibition in his honor.
