Internationally worldwide recognized as one of the great contemporary masters in the art of enameling.
He initially trained at the Llotja School (1944-1945) and later at the Massana School (1946-1957), where he learned the secrets and techniques of fire enameling. In the mid-1950s, he expanded his studies through research trips to various European cities, including Paris, Florence, and Rome.
His work has been exhibited in cities such as Barcelona, Madrid, Paris, Brussels, Montreal, Palma, and Andorra la Vella, among others. In 1986, he was the guest of honor at the prestigious Limoges Biennale (France).
His contribution to the enameling technique is globally considered one of the highest expressions of the discipline, alongside figures such as Japan's Oota and America's Bennet. Aesthetically, his graceful lines evoke influences from the Italian Renaissance (such as Botticelli) as well as Art Nouveau and Symbolism (such as Gustav Klimt). In addition to enamel, his artistic output encompasses oil painting.
Having held several exhibitions at Galería El Claustre, his work is permanently represented in their art collection.
